Melissa Romeo is an artist and arts educator living in Portland, OR. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Illinois and has since worked as an educator and docent both at the Art Institute of Chicago and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, Italy.
Melissa also teaches creative workshops involving painting and pyrography to groups of all ages. Her current focus is on building an art curriculum for students out of their “traditional” classroom due to Covid.
When not making visual art, Melissa works as a freelance graphic designer.
